Since moving to Whitstable in 1963 we have become not only the oldest newsagents in town but one of East Kent's largest independent newsagents

The family business began in Eythorne, near Dover, with my grandfather. My father opened his own business in Chessington, Surrey before moving to Whitstable. At one time he had three shops in the town before settling for the current business in Swalecliffe, which was previously owned by Charlie Chester and run by his son, Peter.
